Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Grukmo collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website, mobile app, and related services. Grukmo is an AI trading assistant.

1. Who we are

Grukmo provides an AI-powered trading assistant experience, including market insight, setup analysis, risk-planning tools, subscriptions, and related support services. In this policy, “Grukmo,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to the operator of the Grukmo website and app.

2. Information we collect

We may collect:

Account information, such as your name, email address, password hash, profile image, and birth year if you provide them.
Usage data, such as prompts, responses, chat history, feature interactions, device type, app version, browser type, IP address, and approximate location derived from IP.
AI chat content — when you use Grukmo's chat, the messages you send, images or files you attach, and prior conversation history are transmitted to third-party AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) solely to generate your response. We do not send your name, email, or payment details to these providers.
Subscription and billing data, such as plan type, billing cycle, payment status, transaction IDs, and subscription metadata. We do not store full card numbers; payment details are handled by our payment processor.
Support and communications, such as messages you send to support or feedback you submit.
Technical data, such as logs, diagnostics, crash reports, cookies, and analytics events.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• create and manage accounts;
• deliver the Grukmo app, website, and subscription features;
• process payments and manage billing;
• provide AI responses by transmitting your chat messages, attached files, and conversation history to Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI (GPT) — our third-party AI providers — to generate responses on our behalf. These providers do not use API data to train their models by default. See Section 4 for full details;
• save chat history and improve product performance;
• secure accounts, detect abuse, fraud, and policy violations;
• communicate with you about service updates, support, billing, and product changes;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. AI features and chat content

When you use Grukmo's chat, your messages, uploaded images, and files are transmitted to third-party AI providers to generate responses. Specifically, Grukmo uses:

Anthropic — provider of the Claude AI models (claude.ai). Your chat content is sent to Anthropic's API to produce AI-generated responses. Anthropic's privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
OpenAI — provider of the GPT models (openai.com). In certain scenarios, your chat content may be sent to OpenAI's API. OpenAI's privacy policy is available at openai.com/policies/privacy-policy.

These providers process your content solely to generate AI responses on our behalf and are bound by data processing agreements that require them to protect your data. Depending on settings and internal processes, some content may also be reviewed by Grukmo for safety, support, abuse prevention, and product improvement. You should not submit sensitive financial account credentials, seed phrases, private keys, government IDs, or other highly sensitive personal information through chat.

5. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable, we process personal information because it is necessary to provide our services, perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate interests such as security and fraud prevention, or because you have given consent where required.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Payments and recurring subscriptions may be processed by third-party billing providers. Those providers may collect your billing address, payment method details, and transaction information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We receive limited billing-related information needed to activate, manage, renew, downgrade, or cancel your subscription.

7. Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies, local storage, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, analyze product usage, and improve the service. You can manage browser cookie settings, but some features may not work properly if essential cookies are disabled.

8. How we share information

We may share information with:

Third-party AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) — your chat messages, images, and files are sent to these providers to generate AI responses. See Section 4 for full details. Both providers offer the same or equivalent data protection commitments required under applicable privacy regulations;
• service providers that help operate hosting, analytics, support, notifications, storage, security, and billing;
• payment processors and subscription platforms;
• professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and legal partners where reasonably necessary;
• law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when we are legally required to do so or when necessary to protect our rights, users, or the public;
• a buyer, investor, successor, or affiliate in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and comply with legal, accounting, and tax requirements. Retention periods may vary by data type and applicable law.

10. International transfers

Your information may be stored or processed in countries other than your own. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers and work with providers that support recognized transfer mechanisms.

11. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and securing your device.

12. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or export of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. To make a privacy request, contact us using the information below.

13. Children’s privacy

Grukmo is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use the service without parental permission. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where prohibited by law. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will review the matter.

14. Third-party links and services

Our website or app may link to third-party sites, tools, app stores, brokers, exchanges, analytics providers, or social platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
